How Large Enterprise Companies are Transitioning into Hybrid

The transition to “Rapid Remote” was hard. Hybrid is even harder.

Many large enterprises are now entering a new period of transition. Many are stepping into a phase of experimentation as they try out new hybrid working models.

Our CEO, Sacha Connor, led a panel discussion with some of our Virtual Work Insiders clients to share how they, and the large enterprises they lead, have adapted to remote and hybrid work over the past year and what’s in store for the future.

In this session, panelists who represent Raytheon Technologies, Guest Worldwide, and Sovos Brands share their thoughts and experiences on:

  1.  Best practices for transitioning to remote & hybrid work – the skills needed to make it successful, including the importance of learning how to influence across distance
  2.  Integrating new teams virtually – creating team cohesion and connectivity when people have never met each other in person
  3.  Fostering innovation – how to innovate and ideate when you can’t all be in the same room
  4.  Looking to the future – the challenges and opportunities that come with continued remote and hybrid work

Panelists:

🎤  John Carroll – Vice President of Global HR, Guest Worldwide, a >$1 billion division of Sysco that had to be extremely inventive to pivot during the pandemic. Virtual Work Insider started working with Guest Worldwide in Fall 2020 to provide our “Influencing Across Distance” workshop to their 60 most senior leaders.

🎤  Priscilla Tuan – Senior Vice President of Marketing, Sovos Brands. She’s a creator & innovator that was leading teams across 4 office sites & 4 time zones even before COVID. We’ve trained Sovos’ marketing and R&D teams, and Sacha had the privilege to work closely with Priscilla for many years at The Clorox Company, where she ran a $1B business.

🎤  Amanda McNamar – Engineering Senior Manager, Raytheon Technologies. Mandy has done an incredible job of leading a hybrid team of 150 people through COVID all while also integrating two new teams together. She brought Virtual Work Insider in to provide virtual leadership training sessions to her Missile Defense team.
